Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AIR Journals' website and services, including submitting manuscripts for review and publication, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

1. Service Description

AIR Journals provides AI-powered peer review, under strict scholarly supervision, and open access publication services for academic research across multiple disciplines. Our services include automated manuscript evaluation, citation integrity verification, plagiarism assessment, quality evaluation, editorial decision-making, open access publication with DOI assignment, and auto-indexing in scholarly databases.

2. Manuscript Submission

Submission Requirements

By submitting a manuscript, you represent and warrant that:

• The work is original and has not been published elsewhere
• All sources are properly cited and attributed
• All authors have approved the submission
• You have obtained all necessary ethical approvals (if applicable)
• The work contains no plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication of data
• You have the right to grant the licenses described in these Terms

What We Do NOT Require

We do NOT require that manuscripts be submitted exclusively to AIR Journals. Authors may submit the same work to other journals simultaneously. We evaluate research quality only, not publication exclusivity.

3. Review Process

AI-Powered Review

All manuscripts are reviewed using artificial intelligence following our established evaluation framework, under strict supervision of human scholars. The review process includes: Citation Integrity Verification (100% of citations checked), Plagiarism Content Assessment (comprehensive screening using professional premium services), Quality Evaluation (assessment across 5 major categories, with many proprietary subcategories), Final Report Generation, and Author Communication.

Review Timeline

Standard Timeline: We aim to deliver editorial decisions within 2 working days of submission.

Extraordinary Circumstances: In rare cases, the review timeline may be extended due to technical failures, unusually high submission volume, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will notify affected authors as soon as possible.

Editorial Decisions

Possible decisions include: Accept (90-100 points), Minor Revisions (80-89 points), Major Revisions (70-79 points), Major Revisions - Uncertain (60-69 points), Reject - May Resubmit (50-59 points), Reject - Integrity Issues (no score), or Reject - Quality Threshold (0-49 points).

Editorial decisions are final and not subject to appeal. We provide detailed feedback to help authors improve their work.

4. Fees and Payment

Fee Structure

• Submission Fee: $10 (non-refundable, paid at time of submission on Stripe's website after receiving link from us)
• Publication Fee: $140 (non-refundable, paid only upon acceptance and paid on Stripe's website after receiving link from us; its payment is confirmation by authors they want to publish)
• Total Cost if Accepted: $150
• No payments are done on our website and we never collect authors' credit card information or any of their financial information

Resubmission Fees

Papers Requiring Revisions (Not Rejected):

• First resubmission within 7 days of revision request: FREE
• Any resubmission after 1st resubmission or after 7 days: $10

Rejected Papers:

• All resubmissions: $10 (no free resubmission option)

This policy encourages authors to promptly address revision feedback while maintaining fair treatment for all submissions.

Refund Policy

Submission/resubmission fee of $10 is non-refundable once paid as the review process has begun. Publication fee of $140 is paid only after approval. If a paper is approved but authors do not want to publish, they can simply not pay the publication fee. If a paper is approved and authors pay the publication fee of $140, it is non-refundable as the publication process has begun. In summary: all payments are non-refundable as they trigger subsequent processes.

5. Publication

Upon Approval

Upon approval: Authors provide manuscript in DOCX format for final production and pay publication fee ($140) > AIR Journals secure permanent DOI for the paper (verifiable on https://doi.org/) > AIR Journals make necessary editorial modifications > Final PDF is created and published on dedicated permanent webpage > AIR Journals provide authors with direct link to the webpage. AIR Journals publication typically within 1-2 weeks of approval, sometimes much faster; AIR Journals adopt CP (Continuous Publishing) Model, hence have no periodic ISSUES, and ONE ANNUAL VOLUME. For indexing services that provide automatic DOI-triggered indexing, your paper will be indexed on its own; this includes but not limited to Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, Google Scholar (can be added manually, as well), and other indexing services. Such indexing takes place with no intervention by AIR Journals at all; it is automated (as long as such 3rd party services allow it) and it totally depends on the technicalities and decisions of such indexing services; AIR Journals hold no responsibility or liability whatsoever regarding these indexing services provided by third parties. If authors provide AIR Journals with their ORCiD's, AIR Journals will insert them in the global database during DOI registry and (after authors grant their permission) Crossref will be able to auto-update their ORCiD profiles with their newly-published papers. For approved papers, authors may OPTIONALLY request professional formatting assistance for a non-refundable fee of $50. This service is entirely OPTIONAL and will be mentioned in APPROVAL EMAIL; authors may format manuscripts themselves at no additional cost using our publicly available template.

6. Copyright and Licensing

Author Retention of Copyright

Authors retain full copyright to their work. You do not transfer copyright to AIR Journals.

License to Publish

By submitting a manuscript for publication, you grant AIR Journals a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to publish the work, distribute in electronic format, include in indexing services, and create archival copies.

Open Access License

Published papers are made available under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which allows free access, reuse with attribution, derivative works, and commercial use with proper attribution.

7. Ethical Standards

Authors must ensure: human subjects research has appropriate ethics committee approval, animal research follows ethical guidelines, all necessary consents obtained, data collection followed ethical standards. All listed authors must have made substantial contributions. Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and financial relationships that could influence the work.

8. Prohibited Content

You may not submit manuscripts that contain plagiarism, falsified data, violations of intellectual property rights, defamatory material, promotion of illegal activities, malicious code, or violations of research ethics.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific submission (maximum $150, or $200 if optional formatting service was purchased). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, or reputational harm.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, except for small claims court actions or intellectual property disputes.
